One sign of a life well lived is the reaction of others upon our passing.

The truth is few people make an impact on those beyond the people who they know personally and interact with regularly.

Paul Newman was different.
As many of us can attest, we felt something unique when we learned of his passing this weekend. And from the people I've spoken with, it was unanimously a heartfelt feeling of loss, admiration and sadness. No one was happy to see him go.

There are precious few in this world who make that kind of impact. Princess Di did. When she died, people around the world realized how much they loved her and were moved by what she stood for and embodied.

But that can't be said for every public figure. Case in point: President Clinton is certainly beloved by many. However he's also reviled by many others too.

So who is today's Princess Di, the person who is almost unanimously beloved...that when they pass, there would be a massive and unanimous feeling of loss? In addition to Paul Newman, here's my short list:

	Oprah I hesitate to write this because I would never want to tempt the God's. Her business savvy, personal triumph, character, charity and humanity make her beloved around the world.
	Muhammad Ali He's transformed himself from a fighter to a worldwide ambassador of peace and love. His strength and good humor in dealing with Parkinson's disease has been an inspiration on triumphing over adversity.
	Warren Buffet Humble Billionaire who's recently agreed to give away most of his fortune to charity...and not even in his own name. Lives in the same house in Nebraska he bought in 1958 for $31,500
