- If you believed that dyslexia was a severe disadvantage in the workplace, what would your expectations be of yourself if you were a dyslexic?
- If you believed you could lose your shirt if you started a business, do you think you'd start one?
- If you believed you'd be devestated if you boyfriend broke up with you, how desperate and clingy might you be in the relationship? What would be the likely result?
- If you believed, maybe because of direct observation of those close to you, that Cancer was a death sentence, what do you think would be the result for you if you came down with it?
This sheer,pure and utter bollocks as we say in England. You give dyslexics a bad name and its discriminatory. If you said the same about a specific ethnic group you would be fined for it. I rest my case, generally dylexics have a higher level of IQ and see things differently.

AS people can lie and lie very well because they believe what they are saying. They just really think they are telling the truth. You see they simply remove from memory the prior actions or agreements, and continue on as though these never occurred or existed. I am living this groundhog day type nightmare, and have been for a number of years. Unfortunately, I am learning that divorce does not end the problems of dealing with such a person, it just changes things a little.

Two of our children have autism (6 1/2 years old and 8 1/2 years old) and are both still non-verbal. Through your story, we are inspired to get laptops for both of them, in hopes that they can communicate and express themselves to us. We have been doing most all therapies that are out there over the course of the last 6 years. We remain optimistic and diligent to help them and are excited to get laptops (hopefully donated due to our phenomenal debt) and won't it be awesome if this will help them communicate to us.
